DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS To Fill Old ColumbiaTM Open padlock with key (B) remove cap (A) carefully pour contents into glass globe. To Adjust Amount Dispensed: Open pad lock with key (B) remove cap (A). Empty contents of globe by pouring into large container. With finger remove wing nut (C) also unscrew "machine nut" (D) that holds Spider Globe Retaining Ring (E). (caution-hold globe (G) to prevent breakage.) Remove globe (G), gasket (L), set screw holder (H), agitator holder (I) and top plate (K). With small screwdriver adjust portion control to desired opening (T). Retighten and reassemble. Finger tighten. To Remove Glass Globe (G): Same as above. To Remove Coins: Open padlock with key (B) remove cap (A). Unscrew wing nut (C) only (not machine screw)(D) Lift machine by body and slide up and over narrow metal stem. (N) Coins are on metal base. (Z)Now take money to piggy bank. Cleaning: Clean all parts with mild detergent and warm water. CAUTION! To replace large Coil Return Spring (P) follow above instructions and remove slide pull unit (0) caution heavy tension spring below. Carefully remove spring arm (P) from "catch" on slide pull. Lift, replace spring. The replace coil spring (P) follow above: remove skirt, replace spring on both catches. |
